The Conservation Series: Sacrifice

Featured in this photo are mice that served previously as control mice in cancer research and serve even in death; they are humanely euthanized and are used to feed animals in care at the Center for Wildlife Medical Clinic as well as the non-releasable ambassador animals. Sacrifice is representative of the American Spirit; down to the smallest of us, we give so much to so many to move eachother forward.
